Some of our international Pure Oskar community were seeking a gift with a difference from Ireland. They wanted something that was fun and not the typical “gift from Ireland”. Something quirky but high quality. As we’re based near the Curragh in Co. Kildare, we responded by creating The Curragh Sheep. Due to popular demand, we are keeping him and making him available to everyone to snap and use as they choose. We found that some of our community wanted The Curragh Sheep for display purposes and felt it was too good to “use”. (a very Irish thing we think!).
Our shampoo bars contain all natural ingredients that work with the natural oils of your hair. Plastic shampoo products often contain harsh chemicals that damage your hair.

Yes, with one exception. We do not use any animal products in the making of most of our products, except for one - goat milk soap, as the name suggests. This is the only product from our range that isn't suitable for vegans.
A healthy byproduct of soap manufacture is glycerine, which has natural skin nourishing properties. Glycerine is widely removed from mass soap production and used for other skin product purposes. Pure Oskar keeps all the goodness of Glycerine, it is a key moisturising component of our soaps. We do not include the additives PEG (Polyethylene glycol, Poly (ethylene oxide), parabens, or SLS in our products.
We work with local suppliers to create natural products containing natural ingredients. We do not use harsh chemicals or harmful substances in our products. We reuse and recycle and have a zero waste policy. We work in a plastic free zone and are committed to keeping our carbon footprint low.
We are genuinely handmade and committed to building a brand that meets sustainable credentials throughout everything we do. We are firmly committed to creating products that are not harmful to our customers and the world around us.
